Safety in the Industry – Cameras

Safety in the Industry – Cameras

Safety legislation is regularly updated for the trucking industry. Our aim is to use the safest possible working methods, even when not yet required by law; for instance in our use of the latest safety cameras.

Safety is paramount for our customers, for our staff and for our suppliers.

Cameras feature prominently in the area of safety. Two particular examples are our in-cab cameras that record what the driver sees, and our side view cameras that allow the driver to see all along the side of the truck, which for the nearside is not traditionally possible. (more…)

Keeping Track of Our Vehicles

Keeping Track of Our Vehicles

One of the major benefits of being a local company is that we know the roads inside out. We track exactly where each of our Volvos are at any point in time, which means that if we get a call from a customer with an urgent job, we can very quickly assess what can be done and how soon.

Using the latest technology allows us to reduce costs which in turn means we can save our customers money by providing timely and competitive service while eliminating as much empty running as possible, thus maximising the reduction in our carbon footprint.
